State Reps., Mayors, City Leaders Join Broad and Growing Coalition Endorsing Jocelyn Benson
Today, elected and local leaders across Michigan endorsed Jocelyn Benson for governor joining a broad and growing coalition of Michiganders rallying behind her campaign. Endorsements include State Reps. Morgan Foreman, Stephen Wooden, Jason Hoskins, the Mayors of Royal Oak and Farmington Hills, and city council members.
“These community leaders know firsthand what’s at stake: our kids’ education, access to affordable healthcare, and ensuring Michigan has a governor who will stand up to any threats to our rights and freedoms, whether from Washington, D.C. or Lansing,” said Secretary of State and gubernatorial candidate Jocelyn Benson. “I’m proud to have them on the team to make government work for everyone, bring down costs, and ensure Michigan is the best place to be a kid, raise a kid, and call home. Let’s go!”

Benson now has the support of 25 state lawmakers, including Senate Majority Leader Winnie Brinks. They join a broad coalition of mayors, city leaders, educators, and labor organizations in supporting the strongest campaign to win in November. She also has the support of state and national organizations including the Michigan Association of Justice, Michigan Democratic Party’s Black Caucus, EMILYs List, and End Citizen United, among others.
