Benson Shares Affordability Agenda Across West Michigan, Meeting with Voters, Small Business Owners

Today, Secretary of State and gubernatorial candidate Jocelyn Benson campaigned across West Michigan, meeting with voters in Kalamazoo, small business owners in Grand Rapids, and labor leaders.

Benson stopped by the Kent County Democratic Party and shared her vision to make Michigan more affordable and the best place to call home.

In Grand Rapids, Benson stopped for a coffee at Scorpion Hearts Club Coffee and visited Books & Mortar.

In Kalamazoo, Benson joined local union members, retirees and labor leaders for a roundtable conversation where she reaffirmed her commitment to always ensuring labor has a seat at the table when she is governor.

Benson met with Michiganders for a town hall with the Kalamazoo Dems where she highlighted her work as Secretary of State to stand up for people’s right to vote, and shared that she will stand up to anyone to protect Michiganders’ pocket books as governor.

Benson ended the day celebrating Oberon Day with Michiganders at Bell’s Eccentric Cafe.
