PRESS RELEASE

Winnie Brinks Rallies Volunteers in Marquette with Anna Aho Rink

Today, Senate Majority Leader and Democratic nominee for Lieutenant Governor Winnie Brinks joined Anna Aho Rink, Democratic nominee for Michigan HD-109, for a canvass launch in Marquette.

Two weeks out from Election Day, Jocelyn Benson and Winnie have been traveling the state to campaign alongside Democrats up and down the ballot, highlighting their plans to lower costs and rallying voters to elect a Democratic trifecta this November. Like Jocelyn and Winnie, Anna Aho Rink will work for the people, with a laser-focus on driving down costs, raising wages, and getting corruption out of politics. With strong partners like Rink in Lansing, the Benson-Brinks ticket can deliver real results for Michiganders.

“This is a high-profile race for a reason…this is the year that we take [the House majority] back, and this is the year that it is part of building the next majority in the state house,” said Senate Majority Leader Winnie Brinks. “We are all marching in the same direction to lower costs, to create good jobs, and to defend your rights and freedom, so we need to finish strong.”
