Emgage Action Endorses Jocelyn Benson for Governor
Today, Emgage Action endorsed Jocelyn Benson as the next Governor of Michigan. Emgage, one of the largest Muslim American civic organizations in the country, praised Jocelyn’s track record of protecting Michiganders’ rights in their endorsement.
“Jocelyn’s career has been defined by her commitment to civil rights and public service. As Secretary of State, she partnered with leaders and advocates in the Arab American community to expand voter access, increase language accessibility, combat misinformation, and protect the rights of Muslim and Arab American citizens in each election she oversaw,” said the board members of Emgage Action. “Jocelyn listens, she shows up, and she delivers results. We trust her to continue fighting for the rights, freedoms, and opportunities of our community and all Michiganders, and that’s why we’re proud to endorse her.”
