Today, State Senators Sam Singh and Jeff Irwin, and State Representative Veronica Paiz endorsed Jocelyn Benson for governor.
“Michigan needs a governor with a track record of making government work, and Jocelyn Benson is that leader. She transformed the Secretary of State’s office from one of the worst in the country into a national model, and as governor will do the same for Michigan as a whole – creating a world-class education system that prepares our young people for the jobs of tomorrow and building an economy that works for everyone,” said State Senator Sam Singh. “Jocelyn is the champion that Michigan needs, and that’s why today I’m proud to endorse her for governor.”
“People across Michigan are struggling to get by amidst skyrocketing costs – especially for housing and energy. Jocelyn Benson is the only candidate in this race who is focused on practical steps to lower these costs and that’s why I’m supporting her for governor,” said State Senator Jeff Irwin. “She has what it takes to work with anyone to put more money in Michiganders’ pockets.
