NEW AD: Jocelyn Benson Vows to Fight for Affordable Healthcare and Put Patients First

Yesterday, Jocelyn Benson released her latest statewide television ad, “Helping Patients,” which highlights her plan to lower drug costs, take on insurance companies that deny care, and expand access to quality, affordable healthcare in every community across the state.

Jocelyn has declared healthcare the “defining issue” of 2026 and rolled out a comprehensive plan to lower costs, increase access to care, and improve outcomes. Meanwhile, her opponent has voted three times to raise healthcare premiums on Michiganders and gave tax breaks to the drug companies bank-rolling his campaign.

Jocelyn is the only candidate in this race who will put patients first. As governor, she will lower costs by cracking down on price-gouging by drug companies, ban insurance companies from denying care, and protect Michiganders from John James’ Medicaid cuts so all of Michigan's kids, seniors, and families in need have access to the affordable healthcare they deserve.
